Between 2013 and 2020, Marcos Tejedor developed his career as a professional photographer in Costa Rica, working at five-star resorts that welcomed guests from all over the world. Within that vacation setting, he also discovered his strongest artistic interest: portraiture.

His focus was especially on capturing people’s authentic expressions—of all kinds, without exception: lively children, radiant young adults, serene elders.

Although he also worked in wedding photography and family and couples sessions, it was portraiture that truly defined this stage of his career.

Each image aimed to be more than just a travel keepsake: it sought to convey a genuine emotion, an unrepeatable moment, the natural light of happiness in its most sincere form.

This dedication to the face and to human expression is an important part of the foundation that would later also deeply influence his pictorial work.
